I've recently had multiple patients complain of irritation and limited cl wear with the av oasys lens. Anyone else? I've tried switching lens care solutions (Clear Care) and treating dryness/irritation issues with surface lubricants and rewetting drops without success. The only solution for most of these patients seems to be refitting into a daily disposable.

I generally find that Oasys are very comfortable initially for patients but tend to have more problems over time than Air Optix or Biofinity.

I've had it for over a year..long term wearers with GPC and lens tightening. I don't have it with other SIHY lenses. I am systematically switching them to Airoptics and biofinity

Check for allergy symptoms. Any CLs are no good when allergies are affecting the eyes. I've been getting a higher amount of bacterial/allergic/CLARE conjunctivitis in the last month myself.
