My View

Thoughts on the eye care industry as I see it.

Let's start a Techie Community!

Anyone intersted in starting a community group on Sight Nation for practice management and automation technology? The focus would be on all things related to managing the day-to-day processes in an eyecare office; new technology, integrations, tips, suggestions, regulation, etc. I would want anyone with an interest in participating to join the group. We are nerd-friendly.

What do you think? Ideas or suggestions?

Must be talking about Smile Reminder or demandforce. I am launching with demandforce tomorrow. Let me know if you have questions

Have any of you used Google to send a text to your patients' phone to confirm their appointment? I read about this in one of the trade magazines and I actually tried it and sent a text to myself. It worked! And it was easy. Seems like a really cool idea & may save staff some crucial phone time. Thoughts?

That sounds cool! In what trade magazine did you hear about this? I would like to share that with our docs.

Great idea. I am interested in teaching ECPs how they can change their patients' poor lens care compliance by using email campaigns and social net working.

Ok, folks! It's a done deal. Join the "Eye Care Techies" group today and start getting nerdy.

Who wants to contribute the first topic for discussion?!
