Super Systems Takes On The Daily Grind of Social Media, Hires Mark Bordicks

Super Systems Optical Technologies hires a Public Relations and Marketing Associate to help promote the Daily “Grind” of lens surfacing

Super Systems, manufacturer of The Fast Grind All-In-One Lens Surfacing Unit will now be utilizing Social Media among other electronic communications strategies

Cincinnati, Ohio—November 23, 2011— Super Systems Optical Technologies a provider of optical equipment internationally including its signature Fast Grind 2200 lens surfacing system, will now utilize social media networking to reach out to clients and provide them with stronger customer support. In order to accomplish this task, they have hired Mark Bordicks as a Public Relations and Marketing Associate. Bordicks is a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati, holding a BFA in Electronic Media and is currently a Graduate Student pursuing a Masters degree in Communication at Northern Kentucky University. He comes to Super Systems with prior experience which includes designing and implementing a B2B social media strategy for a communications firm in Munich Germany, generating a social media strategy for a Cincinnati non- profit, and performing a variety of freelance work in the Cincinnati area. Bordicks will primarily deal with social media strategy, electronic marketing efforts, new media development, video marketing, press development and publication relations.

Bordicks commented on his new position saying, “I am very excited to explore the depths of social media and see what information works best for the Fast Grind System. My goal when working with social media at Super Systems is to provide content that anyone within the eye care industry can appreciate. This is my first time working with optics, but what I have learned so far is absolutely fascinating.”

Super Systems will now be utilizing social media networking as a tool to provide clients with up to date product information as well as industry relevant content that can assist ECP’s in their daily operations. They also plan to implement use of video to help with demonstrating their products including the Fast Grind System.
