Thanks Bill! I don't have a problem linking facebook or twitter applications - it just slows me down as I try to conquer the social media world :)

Bill, if they give you the option that you can only post it as yourself, there's likely nothing you can do to post it just on your professional page alone. I also think (although I am still trying to noodle the changes) that whether you post with your name or your business name only affects the page you make the change on. For example, if you are on your business page and change the posting name from your business to personal the material you post or "like" doesn't go to your personal accout necessarily. I'm not sure about this, but it would make sense. I moderate OnToptics, so if I want to post on Ontoptics as "Ontoptics", I keep it business - if I want the post to be from "Alan Glazier" I keep it as "Alan Glazier" - I'm not convinced that keeping it as Alan Glazier posts it to my personal profile (although it might). I still need to play around with this!

Good day to ask! Today google just uploaded 4 demandforce patient reviews in one day and my Google Places listing jumped from 7th place to 1st place. We have recovered a handful of lost patients and have had feedback from our patients regarding how much they liked the email and text recalls - the receptionists love it as a tool as it enables them to see who opened the recall emails and, for those that haven't we know exactly who to follow up with. I am still exploring features, but the most valuable one is the patient feedback/survey they send out. I'm learning things about my practice I never knew and making things right with people who otherwise would have left dissatisfied and I wouldn't have necessarily known about it. If you have any specific questions I'm happy to answer!
Alan

go check out demandforce.com . The response in our office has been dramatic and recalls are simplified tremendously - many other benefits. Great stuff!

I checked - minimal or no value to adsense use in terms of optimization, but doesn't hurt. Don't count on getting rich on it though.

Adsense is fine from an optimization standpoint, and may even add to your optimization efforts as Google gives some "juice" to pages that subscribe or participate in it's paid efforts - the obvious problem is your competitors show up on your page in the ads.

If you are referring to having someone pay you to link to them, incredibly bad idea. Google looks down on accepting paid links and if they discover them, they have been known to go so far as de-indexing you. Imagine not being able to have a listing in Google - very bad return on investment. If you are referring to another method, please share and I'll put in my two cents!

Check out the Android app

Check out the Android app "Bump", which lets you gently physically bang your phone against a friends android and automatically log in their contact information. Very cool!
