Busy Ophthamology practice in the Mansfield, Ohio area seeking ophthalmic technician. The ophthalmic technician will administer basic ophthalmic testing as well as refractometry, keratometry, tonometry and ultrasound biometry as well as obtain patient histories and scribe for physicians. Technicians perform triage and patient education. Technicians prepare patients for minor procedures and lasers, including blood pressure and pulse, and calibrate and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments. Experience working in a patient care setting preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a positive and productive member of a work team needed.
