Ophthalmology Clinic Manager UT Southwestern Medical Center Dallas, Texas DESCRIPTION: UT Southwestern has an excellent opportunity for an Ophthalmology Clinic Manager! As Manager of our Ophthalmology Clinic, you will maintain a high level of customer service, organize and direct administrative and business functions, oversee clinic staff supervisors, monitor workflow and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, recommending and/or implementing changes as needed. You will also assist in preparing the annual budget, monitor and provide input on expenditures, prepare and submit budgetary reports and ensure that appropriate accounting practices and procedures are followed. In addition, you will oversee billing activities, resolve discrepancies between patient, carrier and physician and ensure correct billing codes are utilized.REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and at least 5 years responsible administrative experience in a patient care environment, to include at least 2 years supervisory experience. Must have knowledge of budget preparation and medical billing. EPIC Resolute preferred. Retail experience a plus; OPHTHALMIC TECHNICAL SKILL preferred.
