THOMASVILLE, Ga.—Sportsquest, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SPQS) announced that it has entered discussions with Fielding Eyewear, the world leader in camouflage sunglasses and camo eyewear accessories. Company execs said they are looking to for the potential acquisition to provide Sportsquest with an attractive niche product line and immediate revenue stream within the eyewear industry.

Fielding offers a host of patented and trademarked products including camo eyewear, microfiber cloths, eyecords and other items, including its Fielding Ibeemz clip-on NiteReader which debuted nationally on QVC recently.
The SPQS board said is looking forward to what it feels will lead to a “mutually acceptable arrangement with collective benefit for shareholders toward long-term growth for the company and an ever-evolving product base in line with industry trends and consumer demand.”

Sportsquest will update shareholders as discussions progress.
