MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—Joseph Tallier, who joined OGI/Scojo Eyewear in September 2008 as vice president of global sales, has become an equity partner in the company.
Dan Lieberman, OD, president of OGI/Scojo, told VMail, "We've invited Joe to share equity with us and are so thrilled to have him as a part of our team. I've known Joe for 18 years and when we had the opportunity to bring him into the business two years ago, he brought to the table such great industry experience and energy to broaden our business, which has really taken hold. Combined with our great products and a great designer, David Spencer, we felt we had a terrific foundation, and Joe's vision for branding, imaging and marketing and his relationships around the country and internationally have enabled us to really expand our presence. Despite a very tough economic climate, our business has been growing very substantially."
The new arrangement became effective Aug. 1st.
OGI collections include OGI Eyewear, Scojo New York, Seraphin and OGI Kids.
